Unscheduled Event - 9/30/2021 12:45 pm Phone Issues: Cronus has been observing normal inbound call performance at this time. It appears that Bandwidth.com has suffered a malicious hacking attack which resulted in some call failures at the upstream provider as well as multiple websites going offline globally this was since resolved. Outbound calling continues to be unaffected. Cronus teams are currently monitoring this underlying carrier issue with Bandwidth.com We are still actively porting out numbers to get all customers off of Bandwidth.com

Unscheduled Event - 9/29/2021 Cronus continues to monitor and interact with bandwidth.com regarding the ongoing DDoS attack which has not let up for 3 days now. (https://status.bandwidth.com/). On a positive note, we are seeing more and more calls completed over bandwidth, however, bandwidth starvation and network capacity is clearly still a major issue resulting in failed calls, call quality, and one-way audio issues. Cronus ongoing effort to aggressively port out to other carriers is going well. We are porting numbers out in the tens of thousands at a time. Our goal is to perform these actions at a high velocity without sacrificing quality or creating further disruptions of service to customers. So far, all port outs have been a success and no new problems have been introduced.

Unscheduled Event - Update: 9/27/2021 4:29pm Cronus continues to be in communication with Bandwidth.com regarding inbound voice service disruptions. Bandwidth.com who is the #1 DID (Phone Number provider) in the United States continues to be attacked by widespread distributed denial of services (DDoS) attacks causing failed calls, DTMF, and other intermittent service-related issues. Cronus is not in the direct line of the attack, Bandwidth.com is unable to reliably route calls to the Cronus network.

Unscheduled Event - 9/27/2021 1:45pm Cronus Support and Engineering is aware of an inbound calling issue relating to select Bandwidth provisioned DIDs (Phone Numbers). Cronus have engaged Bandwidth and are actively working on a resolution.

10/2021 All customer firmware / software will be updated on all devices for the month of October. Updates will be performed from 3am - to 5am daily. If you cannot access the internet please reboot your Cronus equipment.

11/2021 Network Backup power systems testing of battery backup and generators.
