Utility Network Connectivity in Detroit

Resilient connectivity for utility sites, substations, remote equipment and field operations.

Utilities

Connectivity Built for Utilities

Utility infrastructure is spread across wide areas, often far from wired service. Substations, pump stations, meters and field offices still need dependable, secure connections.

Cronus connects utility sites with fixed wireless, 5G and satellite, designs redundant paths for critical systems, and monitors everything from our Network Operations Center.

Questions

Utilities FAQ

Can you connect remote utility sites?

Yes. We connect remote sites with fixed wireless, 5G or satellite, depending on location and line of sight.

Do you build private links between facilities?

Yes. Point-to-point wireless and fiber links can connect substations, plants and offices on a private network.

How are utility networks monitored?

Every link is monitored 24/7 by our Michigan-based Network Operations Center, with alerts and fast response.

Can you connect sites without line of sight?

When a direct wireless path is not possible, we can use 5G, satellite or a relay site to reach remote equipment, and design redundant paths for critical locations.

How fast can Cronus get us connected?

It depends on your location and service. Fixed wireless and 5G can often be installed within days, with no trenching. Fiber may take longer if construction is needed. We give you a clear timeline with your quote, and we can start with a fast temporary connection while fiber is built.

What areas does Cronus serve?

Cronus is based in downtown Detroit and serves businesses and organizations across Detroit and Michigan. Our own fixed wireless and fiber network covers much of the Detroit area, and 5G and satellite options reach almost anywhere. See our Service Areas page or call us to check your address.
